Meet Recap

Mississinawa Valley Boys Bowling traveled to Lima to participate in The Spartan Invitational Baker Tournament. There were 14 teams competing. They first bowled 12 Baker Games to get the teams seeded in a single elimination tournament bracket by total pin count. MV then bowled Lima Central Catholic in the 1st round, beating them 3-1 in the best 3 of 5 format. In the quarterfinals, they were up against conference rival Van Wert. In a huge turn about, the Blackhawks took down the Cougars 3-1, bowling their best Baker Game of the season so far with a 235. In the semi-finals, MV was up against the host school, Lima Senior. After a great day of bowling, the Blackhawks were taken down 3-1, tying for 3rd place. The 7 bowlers that participated for the Blackhawks did a great job competing as a team.
