Game Recap

The Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks traveled to Tipp City to take on the Bethel Bees on Friday night in the first Cross County Conference match-up of the season. Both teams came out swinging as the score was 42-0 in favor of the Bees after the first quarter of play. By the end of the game it was the Bees who were victorious, winning 63-6. Sophomore quarterback Trent Collins made his second career start for the Blackhawks compiling 97 yards on the night. On the ground Junior Nathan Gladdish scampered for 53 yards and 1 touchdown on the ground. Gladdish also was tough on defense compiling racking up a sack near the Bees goal line. Sophomore Will Hall led the team with 9 tackles on the night. Next week the Blackhawks welcome the Covington Buccaneers. Kickoff is at 7:30 with a tailgate before hand.
